Welcome
Welcome to my website and to my practice! I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. Prior to beginning my medical career, I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2006. I received my medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 2010 and completed my residency in Adult Psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in 2013. I completed my fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Stanford University in 2015 and served as Chief Fellow from 2014-2015. I am board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I am in private practice part-time. From 2015-2021, I worked at Stanford University Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as a Clinical Assistant Professor. As part of my role at Stanford, I supervised trainees in psychotherapy and school consultation, and provide school consultation to Palo Alto Unified School District and Los Altos School District.
From my diverse clinical experiences, I have seen the most success in my clients progressing toward wellness when their families, friends, schools, and entire treatment team all are working together actively. On the other hand, I have seen my clients and their families struggle the most when parents and/or clients are not fully engaged in treatment and, instead, hope to improve in a more passive and isolated fashion. While I ask a lot of my clients and their families, I am fully invested in your wellness and am deeply committed to being your greatest cheerleader and advocate.
Please note, in March 2022, I moved back to Michigan with my family. I am currently providing telehealth services to patients located in California and will start to provide services to patients in Michigan in the near future.
